Hi all
Can anyone tell me if they have the same problem?
My crocuses & snowdrops are much smaller this year & the crocus doesn't seem to want to flower any ideas

Mine were a bit late in flower - maybe a week or two later. A few crocuses are smaller but I also seem to have more than last year, so I believe they are just newer naturalised flowers.

Probably the wet last year was also a contributory factor. Bulbs just don't do well in waterlogged sites. Worthy

crocuses need the sun to open up and we have had precious little of it so far. But the dank wet days of late spring/summer meant many bulbs didnt get enough growing done for a good show this spring.

Our's are just fine in Moray, but we didn't have all the weather that you had, Irene.

Ours are fine Irene infact all the spring bulbs are in flower at same time.
I was in Aberdeen on Sunday and did notice the embankment at Kincorth crocus were not in full bloom in years gone by there was always a splash of colour.

No problems with my Crocus and Snowdrops - been flowering since January. I did think my Daffs looked much smaller this year though and slower to come up.
