Rudbeckia Cherry Brandy: how hardy is it? My brother sent me 24 baby plug plants. I know the bog standard yellow ones are as tough as nails, well they are in my garden. They have been potted on and are in the greenhouse at the moment.

I was hoping i wouldnt be a guinea pig. My brother often does this to me. He finds a plant he likes but lets me grow them first to trouble shoot them. I hadnt realised they were the R hitra. They are usually very nice plants. Slugs well, I have hundreds of them so its snail patrol soon :o))

I use my aunt's garden as a guinea pig. Only 15 mins drive away but further inland and in a damp frost pocket, normally 2 weeks behind my in summer growth. Anyway she has Rudbeckia Cherry brandy in her garden and they are fine - so must be hardy to survive in her garden.
