Thanks for your response. The hebe is lemon/lime. I live in Victoria Australia and even though the tag said full sun, I wonder if it has had too much. Can I save it?

Hi Mmmm57, I believe this one can be grown in full sun to light shade, however maybe full sun in your area, is not the same as full sun in the uk, I would try moving the plant to a shadier position, but having said that, a lot of hebe's are native to your part of the world, so if the label says full sun it should be able to cope with Australian sun, but you can't always trust the label, Derek.

I'm going to try moving it. I think it's probably been too hot this year and a little shade won't hurt! Thank you for your help- very grateful.

Hi, could you tell us which Hebe you have please, ?
There are approximately 100 species of Hebe, ranging in hardiness from fully hardy, through frost hardy, right down to half hardy, so you may just have the wrong species for your area, and it has been killed off by frost, Derek.
