I have been looking at copper slug collars for my delphiniums and they seem expensive . I've seen something on Amazon called Times Up. Slug and Snail barrier. It's a lot cheaper than others and wonder if any of you GOYers have used it?

Someone here mentioned using those copper pan scrubbers that cost less than £1 for 3 for. You unwrap them and put that around Delph's etc pinning them down. Must be a lot cheaper than Amazon and works on the same principle.

Yes many thanks . I will look for the scourers. I'm afraid I normally fork them but hate doing it and don't want to use slug pellets.

It might be similar to one I use, only a different brand name..I get mine from good Garden centres..now called "Slug gone" based on sheep wool pellets..needs to be dug into the soil, anytime from February..to work firstly,on the hatching eggs.It is also a fertiliser...I use it on my Delphiniums with success, and all other susceptible plants..an organic product,so it won't harm pets or wildlife..google it,to get more info..good luck..
