No,I haven't Linda..I think it will be a while yet as it's too cold..apart from the fact we still have a mountain of snow on ours ! :o(

I put a weedkiller-spring feed on my lawns during the brief mild spell at the beginning of March after a de-thatch. It is looking better and green (too much walking on whilst making snowmen made it yellow in large patches).

If the weather continues to improve I will put more on in a few weeks after another de-thatch and aeration. As long as the temps are above 5C during the day the grass does grow - as does the weeds.

No I havent yet, I wait till there are signs of growth before I do but its not usually this late.

We have had very dry weather in Glasgow so it is difficult to put it down until I know we will get some rain. I scarify it after the moss goes black. I live in an area where moss is a big problem. My front lawns are on a hill so I need to kill the moss or I cannot push my lawn mower. Today is the first day the temperature has been over 5 degrees. I didn't want to harm the grass if it was very cold again. Thanks for all your comments.....they were very helpful.
