I am about to purchase an apple espalier to grow against a fence. Can I also grow raspberry canes in front of the espalier.

I agree Moongrower, espalier need regular pruning to keep their
shape and fruiting so you need plenty of room to work

I wouldn't recommend doing this - the raspberry canes will need staking or running between two sets of wires to help them to stay upright and how would you reach the apple tree?
