Has anyone started hardening off any annual or perennial seeds they have been growing?
Thank you

I've put some annuals out in the garden in pots, so I can move them back to safety if needed!

I,ve just sowed annual seeds but anything tender needs protection as Andy so rightly said.
Did the snow do any damage down there Andy?

Not really Pam, It's more the fact that the winter has been long, cold and grey. All in all, we only had 2 batches of snow which was ok.
Fairly tender stuff such as Guara and penstemon have been ok and most perennials seem to have come through it.
Fingers crossed, lets hope for a nice long warm summer....not too hot, it can peak at around 25 c :-)

Oh Andy wouldn't it be so nice....barbecues in the garden and sitting outside until the stars come out..
Thereagain some calm sunny weather would do!

I sowed a lot of hardy annuals in trays in the greenhouse. Due to lack of space in my very crowded greenhouse, ive had to start moving them outside now.
Trouble is, ive just seen the night time temps for here at the weekend and we could be in for a frost. Might have to bring some of them in for the night.
