And do make sure your remove all the flowers before they seed - the seed capsules explode and spread their bounty far and wide.I wish I could tell you how to get rid - all I can say is, they do completely disappear after flowering!
Glyphosate does get rid of the current crop but watch out for seedlings next year.

They are harder than many weeds to get rid of but I've taken on a number of gardens over run with celandines and I can confirm that spraying with glyphosate followed by hoeing and repeating a few times is very effective .
Infact hoeing to a depth of an inch or so every week for a season will kill every weed I know of with the exception of marestail.
Basically you're hoeing before any new green growth can appear so the plant cannot create fuel and dies.

Digging them out is the organic way but the root systems are pervasive and they'll come back for quite a time unless you're ultra careful to remove all root.
. Spraying with glyphosate one week and hoeing the next.. and repeat if necessary is imo quicker and more effective
