I have 2 star jasmine plants(trachelopermum jasminoides) planted in large containers this is their second year, but the leaves have turned brown and looked diseased is this a natural process? if not what can I do about it ps.I have not had any flowers or buds on them yet. Thanks GARDENBIRD

The browning may have been caused by the very cold north easterly winds we had a couple of weeks ago, I have 2 of these and the tips of a few shoots have had the same problem, just cut off the affected parts, and should be fine, Derek.

I have had one of these against a trellis for 2 years, and I have not had any flowers but last autumn the leaves went an autumnal red, and now they are turning green again, so I hope that means it has settled and maybe I shall get flowers, so don't give up hope, perhaps we shall both be lucky!
