I have a white sink used for alpines ,( already growing well,) but my question is can I do anything to the outside to make it look more attractive now its already planted up, I don't particularly like the white china look!

As long as you clean off any grease on the sink then the first thing to try is painting it with the kind of paint used for the outside of houses. It will last a few years before needing doing again.

Thats an idea Ob, I seem to remember Bloomer recently painted an old birdbath that gave it a new lease of life.....If you want to look Sheep put Bloomer into the search box top right

I have planted Alpines in mine too and was wondering what to do with the outside of mine too, thinking of getting my hubby to make a rustic wooden surround for it :o)

« can i plant a pachypodium outside or is it best indoors, thankyou
What came to my mind......and I don't know if it would work but you can make somethinh called. Hypertufa. To make you own pots from cement and moss and perlite or sand, there are a lot of different recipes.
I am honestly not sure if it would stick, but you could decorate the outside for a rustic look maybe??
