Can i grow Buddleia Prunings into Trees?
When i Trim off the Long Ends in March can i grow them ?

wate until you have fresh groth big enough to use for cuttings

You can do hardwood cuttings from autumn to early spring, or semi ripe cuttings in summer, end July/August.

I used my buddleia prunings as pea and bean sticks in the polytunnel. When I dug the beans out in the autumn, every piece of buddleia had rooted. So it's easy!

Same here Jacque - I did the same as Bertiefox and had to remove them all as they were growing in my veg patch! The ones I used still had some green leaf buds on them so maybe that is why they rooted.

Too true I have buddleia growing all over the place - even had some come up in containers - it grows like a weed in my garden.

Iv only 5 Buddleias Liz & iv a Huge garden so id like 3/4 more :D

Well they do seed easily and pop up, that's true - but they're always the basic, lilac coloured one, never the glorious Black Knight or other varieties, so do your cuttings, Jacque, as you said you would, that's my advice;-))
