Pls help me ID this plant.
It looks like a pencil cactus but it has aerial roots with green tips like those of a phalaenopsis.
I cut this off the mother plant which is a very majestic tower of almost 10 feet; with multiple trunks and tonnes of aerial roots. Very intriguing.
Thank you for the identification.

You mean those mangrove trees that grow in swamps? Doubt so. The 10-ft tall mother plant has absolutely no leaves at all. The "sticks" is the foliage.
Anyone has any idea? I've been searching on the net for quite a while but can't seem to find anything other than the pencil cactus

Ok, someone over at another forum identified this plant. This is actually an orchid - Papilionanthe hookeriana.

I wonder what the flowers look like?
Just googled it.. they're purple and speckled. Very pretty.
