Hello ! We bought two young Beauty of Worcester clematis plants recently. They are about 24" high and planted either side of an arch. I have noticed that the plant on one side is healthy and growing but the other has had it's leaves almost completely decimated, possibly by snails. I've protected it now but is there anything I can do to help it survive and grow as normal ? Any advice much appreciated !

Check out copper rings on www.greengardener.co.uk
Although they're not cheap, I can vouch for their effectiveness, and now protect all my vulnerable plants with them
