are these dwarf french bean seedlings iv tried looking on google but cant find a pic so be very grateful if some one could help me please?

Hi Sarah75, sorry no, they;re not bean seedlings of any variety, they look as though they might be sycamore seedlings, Derek.

I have planted my dwarf beans in cells under cover, easier to see when they come up, not yet up though.

there is still plenty of time for them to show yet so don't give up on them yet.

if you have spare beans start a few off in pots, 1 bean per 3" pot is what I do. They can be planted out if the others fail.

iv just put some in pots like you suggested my lettuce and cabbages are coming up but nothing els but like you say theirs still time :) thankyou everyone

Hi Sarah75, if you think you may have lost them, try digging down where you've planted them, and look for the larvae of the bean seed fly, they're small, white, legless maggots, and your seeds will be partially eaten away and mushy, Derek.
