My winter beauty clematis has black spots on some of the leaves. Do they suffer the same as roses? It's only the winter flowering evergreen which is affected . My other clematis (which are pruned) are fine and never had any problems.
Thanks

Next question
I have 8 clematis and only one of them used to get black spots on the leaves in the spring, I found spraying for black spot did not stop it. Perhaps a shortage of magnesium? So every six weeks from spring to August I give it a handful of dry Epsom Salts, wait 48 hours and if no rain I water it in. It worked and the plant flourishes now, so its worth a try?
