Where can I buy Lilium pyrenaicum bulbs? Nowhere seems to stock them. Fifty years ago they were rampant in cottage gardens; now they seem to have disappeared. Gardening books describe them as having an unpleasant smell. To me, the best thing about them is their very evoccotive smell, a little bit like Fritallaria impericum. Anyone out there got some to sell? Sorry, I meant Fritalleria imperalis.

Very easy from seed. Mine flowered within two years I seem to remember. Chiltern Seeds normally stock it and it came up like mustard and cress.....well, not quite like that but it germinated very easily.
My plants are now growing well in parents garden. Have a look at my photo's.

He has them for sale.
We have them in the garden and I have been dividing and giving them away for a year or two now. If you remember, send me a pm later in the summer and I will see if I have anything this year.
