my peonies are late also this year, think they will open eventually, mostly to do with the horrible springtime we have had, where abouts are you in the country, some places not had much sunshine to bring these buds out.

Our peonies have only started flowering in the last week or so, I agree with Oliveoil it is just a matter of time.

Thanks Olive oil and Moon-grower. I will try to be patient. I'm in West Yorkshire and the weather has been pretty mundane.

If we get half a day of sun we put the bunting out!

Yup Andrew... Currently mornings are sunny then it rains in the afternoon, at least it is warm enough for me to potter in the garden :-)

I agree with you all regarding the weather. I've got my washer on. Wouldn't have dreamt of doing so on a Sunday at one time, but hey ho got to strike while the iron's hot so to speak lol.
