I recently bought a flowering hawthorn tree and it has not flowered yet. When can I expect to see blossoms.
It is Crataegus double flowered (I hope)

Hi Genie and welcome to GoY. Due to the cold, wet spring most plants and trees are anything up to 4 weeks later than normal. Our neighbour has a hawthorn hedge and this is barely in bud so give it time.

How big is it? May not be old enough.

None of the ones round here are in flower yet. So much for "May blossom!" But if you've bought a small one in a pot it wouldn't be big enough to flower yet. They need to get quite big normally.

Not a 'May' tree this year... Mine has flowers but they are still tight buds.

Through the forest there only a handful that have actually flowered, most are still just about to,

Lovely trees.

How do I say thanks?
