Shouldn't do. Looks more like some sort of fungal disease to me....maybe a type of geranium blight (if there was such a thing). geraniums usually love full sun, although i suppose there are shade tolerant ones, but mine at work are in full sun and love it.

Why is it so pale in colour...is it the variety ? looks like it's been kept in the dark for too long to be honest.

I think it's the variety. I'm waiting till it flowers then going to send a photo to see if anyone knows what kind of geranium it is . It has been in since last year but didn't grow much.

it also looks a bit like it has weedkiller overspray affecting it. Have you recently sprayed any nearby?

No Seaburngirl , I don't use any chemicals in the garden. It was a bit weedy last year also , would I be ok to move it now.

if you do move it then make sure you water it well for a week or two. Most of mine are in partial shade rather than full sun.

Ok thanks . As I said earlier I will post another photo when it flowers as I've no idea what geranium it is. That is if it survives the move.
