I have planted Early Sensation Clematis this year which has just finished flowering. The label says prune after flowering, but looking on the internet says no pruning required. Do I just cut the clump of flower heads off to nearest green leaf, or as it is a new plant leave for this year.

A tidy up, that's all. The 'Prune after flowering' tag is if you need to. Give it a feed now, too.
