Does any 1 know, why does my (10") young Monkey Puzzle Tree has a curved stem?

some just do. you could try tying it loosly to a straight cane in the hopes that you can retrain it. many plants bend at the junction where the root becomes the stem. there is nothing you can do I am afraid.

Is this 10inch in the open ground or a pot?
Most small plants follow the light so have a look to see if this has all round light or the light is coming from one direction,
If it is in a pot! you could keep turning the pot daily, this may help.
Ive one in my own garden and its about 6/7ft tall ,
my other half is sorting out some pics to go on the blogs tonight and if we can get them on i'll get her to put one of our monkey puzzle.

And thank you also to Moon Growe, I'll stop over-feeding our canary!

Me too... And we have found our well fed birds can cause the leader stem to bend :-)
