has you used a feed and weed product that targets any moss? that makes it turn black. is it the grass or is there a black dry growth on the surface? if so that is a 'dog lichen'

Im also going to ask the same question, have you used any lawn/feed via the powder & grit type????

Ive seen over the years many times lawns burning till there is nothing left,

Inspite of following the instructions this is a very offten result.

I myself feed my lawn via liquid feed, ie tomato feed or my own comfrey mix.

Please let us know if what both seaburngirl & myself are thinking is correct.
