Corokia cottoneaster only gets to about 4 foot....ive had one inb my garden at work for over 30 years and it's till the same height.
I'd try C. xanthocarpum (Xantho relating to yellow berries)

No luck with Googling C.xanthocarpum, I'm afraid. I've uploaded a better photo which I hope will help. Our tree is at least 15 feet tall and was grown many years ago from seed which was obtained from the RHS. The label is long gone!

Photo is the same one you first posted... if you bought via the RS perhaps contact them!

Can only suggest talking to Rumsey Gardens, Waterlooville in Hants. 02392 593367. Know them well, and they hold the national collection.

Judging by the size and shape of the bush, if it is a Corokia, I would look to C. x virgata.

To be honest, i don't know if it is one of the larger Corokia sp but it just doesn't have that "cottoneaster look" about it...in fact, it looks more like a tall Berberis !!!!

I did wonder about that Andy

Depending on the actual size of the bush, and the leaf and flower shape, it could also be a Kerria or ornamental currant.

Not azara serrata, is it? That would fit with flower time. Flowers scented?

Possibly Corokia cotoneaster, difficult to tell as photo is out of focus and there is no close up of leaves and flowers.
