Can anyone tell me why my red poppies always turn yellow or orange?Kath.

do they start red then fade. which poppy is it by the way? are they self seeders?

Thanks for your reply,they were bought as a packet of red poppy seeds,one was called Shirley,cant remember the others.Kath
