Hello, i have a ribes odoratum that i purchased 3 yrs ago and it still has,nt flowered. It seems healthy enough, new shoots, growing well ( about 4ft high) semi sun position, not drafty . Could it be because of the cold weather in the uk over the past few winters.

Hello, almost 3 months later !!! Yes ive always pruned it, so thats probably the reason, given it some nitrogen this year as i was told that could be the problem. Belated thanks.

prune after flowering. ribes flower on the previous summer's growth. so don't prune this autumn or spring. If you get flowers prune when they fade.

do you prune it? that might be a problem. but the last couple of years has been a bit odd weather wise.
