Is Angelonia and Snapdragon the same plant?

They belong to the same family as Snapdragons, but are otherwise different plants. Snaps can take light frost, especially when young, but Angelonias can't. On the other hand, Angelonias can take much more heat than Snaps, though that probably isn't much of an issue in Ireland!

No, Snapdragons are Antirrhinums and Angelonia is what is says. I suppose the confusion arises as Angelonia is known as Summer Snapdragon.
