When living in LA near the UCLA campus, there were many many bushes and also trees that had delicate red flowers that looked like miniature Chinese lanterns. This plant seemed to be invasive and before they tore out the area above the stadium I remember it as growing wild. I don't have a photo -- am hoping that someone can identify this plant for me. THANKS!
