That's it Worth1. Many thanks. I have a Ligularia "The Rocket" growing very happily in another area of the garden. Seeing that that likes damp soil I think I might move the filipendula near it.

Pdb could you try to post your photos so that they are upright. I have a laptop so can turn sideways others have to really twist their heads.

Moongrower strange you should say that as someone sent me this yesterday.
"I just would like to say that if you take pictures with your phone or ipod it appears up side down or sideways for other people to see it. Although you personally will see it OK. Strange is not it? On my screen this picture is rotated 90 degrees to the left."
I do take photos with my iPhone and put them on with it also. I didn't know this was happening.
Has anyone else encountered this and is there anything I can do as I find it so easy to use the iPhone?
Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Send a PM to the boys Pdb and ask for their advice. I understood that GoY didn't support images from iPhones and iPads.

Looks to me like meadowsweet, filipendula ulmaria, and you probably can't. It prefers a damp habitat, where it won't be anything like so prone to mildew
