My bearded irises are just finishing flowering. Just wondering if I should cut the flowered stems down now?I haven't in the past but not sure if it's right to leave them or not.

Hj Tuesdaybear, unless you want them to produce seed, I would cut them off, there's no point letting the plant put all its energy into producing seed, if you're not going to use it, Derek.

it also makes the foliage look neater as the seed pods are a bit untidy.
