Thankyou for the info.folks. I have Sisyrinchium striatum but the similarity of the plants never occurred to me. Sorry if my pics are sometimes upside down. I only have an Ipad & there doesn't seem to be any thing I can do about this happening.

Looks like Sisyrinchium, possibly S. californicum
