A few weeks ago I had a wonderful surprise. I found some of the most beautiful poppies growing and I do not know where they came from. Maybe a present from the birds for feeding them. Does anyone know if it is possible to move the whole plant to another place and if so how and when do I do it. Also my Poppy with the red poppies.

Yes you can move the second ones. I am very ruthless with mine and cut them right down to the ground when they have finished flowering as they all fall over and go tatty. They always grow again.

The top ones are Papaver somniferum, hardy annuals. Collect the seed and sow where you want them for next year.
The red one is a bit harder to id as I cannot see the leaves clearly.
