Hello -- I have a lavender plant (in a tub -- quite large) it has flowered leaving dead flower heads -- I think it is a French lavender mabe called Lavandula -- do I just dead head it -- or do I cut it back -- and will it flower again this summer ?
Thank you

If you cut it back, removing the old flowerheads, but not too hard, there is time for the plant to make enough growth for it to flower again, but it probably won't be the full 'forced' flowering you've already had

yes just give it a trim. you can save the heads for 'lavender sachets'.
