Canna care.
I've googled it but just wondered what the fine folk on here think. I let my potted Canna Indica die down in a (largely) frost free place, all the leaves have browned so I've now chopped it back to a couple of inches from the base, what do I do now - just let it come back to life in the spring or do I need to do something with the tubers, if so when should I do it and how? Thanks.

Previous question
I have one in a pot which survives from year to year although rather neglected. I just move it close to the house and this year I threw a bit of fleece over it because it was exceptionally cold. I don't know yet whether it has survived but I won't be cutting off the brown foliage until late spring as it helps protect the plant against frost. I think it would be a good idea to wrap yours in fleece and stand it somewhere very sheltered, then, fingers crossed!
