Plant id please ... i can only guess i dont know for sure, first one a penstemon i think, 2nd one maybe a campanula .... for a friend , hope your all well and enjoying the sun ...many big thanks. ;-)

I think the penstemmon may be "phoenix lavender"
and i agree the campanula is glomerata

Mine wasn't called that, but on second thoughts it's more a true red than this one.

right on both counts. I hbave that penstemon, got it from the Nat Bot Garden of Wales and typically lost the label. I think the campanula is Glomerata.
