Sempervivum
Hi just a quick question about sempervivum . Is it possible to separate the little new plants that shoot off the main plant and grow them on? Many thanks for any info.

I've found that even ones that haven't any roots yet seem to grow them once I've potted them up. Remember to use gritty compost, they don't like to get too wet.

Sorry to appear a bit thick but if its growing out of main plant how will I know if its rooted?

Have done many times, all seem to take whether rooted or not , they quite often have a short stem just tuck into compost an away it will go, good luck

Absolutely, just make sure they have rooted and then you can pot them up into little pots and pot them on...
