Hi, I've recently moved and my new garden hasn't been tended for over 2 years. There are loads of wild sweet peas which are climbing everywhere. Although they look beautiful I really don't want so many. I've pulled some up but the roots are everywhere. Is there an easy way of getting rid of them?
Thanks
Thanks for updates everyone. If I use roundup how long will I have to leave it before I can plant new stuff?
Cheers

That and Roundup. We have a lot of self seeded ones too, and the roots are very hard to dig out.

I'd had weed as many as poss but if needs must then a glyphosphate weedkiller like roundup will also work. dead head as they finish flowering too to prevent even more seeds being produced.
