Gathering lettuce seeds
I have allowed a couple of lettuce plants to go to seed in order to collect and use them again
At what point will i know when they are ready to pick please?

the seed head will dry out and if memory serves they have a small pappas of hairs like a mini dandelion. collect them then and keep in a paper envelop in a cool dry place until next year.
