I wrapped mine up to keep it warmer in the winter.
Another chap wrote he coated his with white emulsion paint in the summer to attract the heat.

H i thank you for the replies about the hot bin only had it a week and it is up to the heat they suggest and my friends and nieghbours are giving me stuff to put in so is nearly full up and it was a birthday present so it did not cost me anything and Dianebulley have you had any compost yet and did the white emulsion paint help

Firstly I was put off by the price! and secondly you need a constant amount of waste to fill it up so that it supposedly makes a bin of compost every 90 days. I would find it stood empty for most of the winter and early spring, so not cost effective, as I find most compostable waste is produced in the growing months.
