As above, poor soil and plenty of sun, so possibly yours to well looked after. Don't feed, just enough water, and hope.

As previous posts have said, Livingstone Daisies like full sun. Their Latin name, Mesembryanthemum means midday flowering and the plants are native to Southern Africa. Somebody gave me a packet of seeds some years ago and I grew them in a pot. As John said mine only opened in full sun so the problem could be that they aren't getting enough sun.

Many thanks all.. i am very much a beginner at gardening, that's why i opted for livingston daisies. i grew them from seed in my wee propagater and seedlings grew no problem. I've planted them in the sunniest area of the garden but no bus or flowers :-( i haven't used plant food or fertilizer so maybe my soil is too rich?
I'll leave them a while longer .
thank you again.

Yes don't pull them up - they will disappear in winter anyway and you might get some late flowers, who knows? (They are succulents - all cacti are succulents but not all succculents are cacti, won't bore you with the difference...)

I have grown Livingstone Dasies in the past and I thought they were pretty fool proof. I do remember they need poor soil and love the sun. Infact the flowers only open in the sun. Not much help I know but perhaps you can give us more information. I believe they related to the cactus family.....or I may be wrong.
