I have just been bought an olive tree in a pot. It's around 2' high. I live in south east kent so reasonable climate and chalky soil. It is in quite a small pot. Should i leave it, repot or put into garden?

I should leave it in the pot, and follow the above advice.
Too much is lost in the cold weeks we get in the winter.

I have 2 standard olive trees and was advised to pot them on which I did, and I wrapped them in fleece overwinter and they were fine. I don't know about planting in the ground maybe someone else can help you here.
