dear sirs last year I lost my husband we have never been gardeners but I have decided to have a go I have got a pear tree which has one fruit on it its in a tube, the leaves have black marks on them what do I do I water ever day please help

Sorry to hear of your loss, glad to hear you're having a go at gardening which can be very therapeutic. Do be careful you're not overwatering your pear tree if you're watering every day. You might possibly be killing it with kindness! Good luck.

I am sorry for your loss.
The black marks are probably Scab. I would suggest buying some systemic fungicide and watering the tree with that according to the information on the packet.
