Last year my Lilies were awful....lots of greenfly and few flowers. I fed them and wintered them in the green house. This year they were fantastic. I had old plants and new bulbs ....all looked great.

They should be planted deeply so it won't be that. where did you buy them?

Very difficult to plant lilies too deep in a pot, A. Whatever, I would have expected the to flower so would say that the seller provided poor quality bulbs and it was not your fault.

Asmith did you get them from a good supplier, I have had bulbs from several suppliers and found the bulb size / quality to matter with lilies, my pot ones I feed regularly like bulbaholic says with Tom feed and they perform fine. But I do repot with fresh compost every year as well.

Not really. Are these lily bulbs that you bought from a supplier this year? If so, they should be guaranteed to be of flowering size and should have flowered, regardless of what you may have done.
Are they old bulbs that you have had in the same pot for several years - this is much easier. Lily bulbs, all bulbs in pots, need feeding to be kept healthy and flowering the following year. You should water with half strength tomato feed after flowering until the foliage has died off. If these bulbs are older bulbs I would suggest repotting in nice, fresh compost and then feeding them next summer.
