A strange one prehaps.....I am growing a seabean I found in the Western Isles. I have opened it, submerged it in water and planted it in compost. It is in a tub with stones at the bottom but no drain hole. It grows amazingly some days by an inch or even two! It is near a south facing window....on the sunniest island(place) in Britain...although maybe not this year! Despite spouting up and creating new leaves some at the bottom are dying off, going black and dry and falling off? Any suggestions? It was a hamburger sea bean. It has ben so much fun to watch it grow I'd hate it to die now fue to my lack of plant knowledge! Thank you. The photo was of it first planted it is now in a bigger pot and 6 inches above a normal garden cane!

Is that the one which was on David Attenboroughs programme last week about how plants travel? They come from Africa I think.
