My onions have bolted so do I harvest them now or can I let them flower and get seeds off them for next year and if so will they still be ok to eat they are slightly bigger than cricket balls so they are a good size.

If you want to try why not just let one of them set seed? You wouldn't need huge numbers of seeds. Then you could try that onion and see if its still edible and you wouldn't have lost the whole crop if it isn't. But if they are F1 hybrids its not worth it.
