hi this may seem strange, but i had a lovely red and white dalia last year and this year it is orange what has happened the same bulbs not changed

that wouldn't explain why it was a different colour last year. It could be due to soil conditions but even then i'm not convinced. has it had a good feed this year?

Could you have got it mixed up with another Dahlia, did you grow more than this one?, Derek.

a throw back to when it was cross bred i guess , like a child with red hair inherited from a grand parent,, though its parents are both blond,
