Stocks- This is the first time I have grown Stocks,please can anyone tell me what to do with them now that they have finished flowering (leave them in or pull them up)

I dead headed most of mine and they they produce a smaller second flush in about 3-4 weeks. I leave a couple to set seed for next year. the rest I pull out and compost.
