I sowed some carrots a few weeks a go and they germinated well. However I have noticed they are slowly being eaten by something and very few of the seedlings are left. What`s the culprit?

Thankyou.I think you have hit on the problem. The carrots were near a grassy area which was quite long and really needs to be kept shorter in future.
