Hi,
I have grown Astilbe for years and never had any problems. I have never got around to dividing them though. This year my favourite one had some kind of disease or pest. Because this year's leaves die away, will it be ok next spring or could the disease continue?

Mine have suffered very badly this year from drought and lost all their leaves. They are just beginning to get new ones. The other trouble we have had is Vine Weevils, they love the roots.
