Could be a grass seed.

I agree...some kind of grass seed....my cat wanders over the fields and comes home covered in them!!

Ok, I keep finding them everywhere and I can't work out where they are coming from - we haven't been in the garden for a fair few weeks as been on holiday but the blasted seeds appear everywhere!

Our cat gets them too - a few weeks ago it was goosegrass now grass seeds, what next??
