Senshu Japanese onions.
I grew some of these last year and found them easy to grow and almost as large as tennis balls when picked. I planted them in late September and was going to do the same this yeat when I noticed that they only would store for just over a month according to my book.
Mine have already been plaited ( thanks M.G.) and stored for 2 months and are still fine. Surely the information then is out of date ?

Thanks for the reply, K, the ones I stored still haven't deteriorated at all, and will be putting some more in very soon.

I found the same Hank! For me this year has been very dry (1/3 of normal summer rain), so I wonder if that helps their storage?
